Overview
Boat Studios was commissioned to cover the JBL Snow Party in Val Thorens, a high energy alpine event combining music, luxury partnerships, and immersive brand experience. Set in Europe’s highest ski resort, the activation featured creator attendance, VIP guests, and collaborations with DJ sets from Tiger Lily and leading global brands including Toyota and Lamborghini – who brought their own branded elements and vehicles to the mountain environment.
The event demanded a production team capable of capturing its intensity, scale, and brand diversity. Boat Studios was selected to photograph the full experience and deliver polished content suitable for immediate use across JBL and partner channels.

OUR ROLE
Boat Studios acted as Mastercard’s on site visual content partner, focusing on delivering high quality, brand aligned imagery at speed.

Overview
Boat Studios was commissioned to capture Club JBL London, the official EMEA product launch for the new range of JBL portable speakers and headphones, including the Flip 7, Charge 6, PartyBox 520, PartyBox Encore 2, and the JBL Tour ONE M3 headphones. The event was designed as a fully immersive brand experience, bringing together press, influencers, distributors, and long term JBL partners for an evening built around content creation, product interaction, and live music.
The venue was divided into multiple interactive zones, including a London Tube inspired headphone demo area, a main Club Room with live performances, a product evolution space, and a themed “Flip’n’Fry” food and afterparty area. Each zone provided intentional visual opportunities, making premium, fast-turnaround event photography essential to the success of the launch.



OBJECTIVES
Boat Studios was tasked with delivering photography that would:

Event Zones Covered
JBL Tour ONE M3 Tube
A London Tube themed entrance space designed for headphone demos. We captured natural guest interactions, product handling, and brand storytelling through the environment design.
JBL Club Room
The main performance space featuring immersive lighting, staging, and photo opportunities. Photography included artists on stage, crowd reactions, influencer moments, and key talent appearances.
JBL Product Area
A dedicated zone showcasing the evolution of the JBL Flip series, the Charge 6, and the PartyBox lineup. Our coverage focused on clean, product forward photography and guest engagement.
JBL ReCharge Zone
A relaxed area with seating and creative backdrops for content capture. The focus was portable speakers and headphones, with candid storytelling around comfort, design, and lifestyle use.
JBL Flip’n’Fry
A themed chicken shop environment centred on the Flip 7 product. Guests were photographed enjoying food, music, activations, and the evening afterparty setup.
